Andrew Galan lives on Ngunnawal Country, Canberra, Australia. He has been published in Solid Air, Rabbit, Concrescence, Cordite and more. He has featured at such events as the Red Dirt, Queensland Poetry and National Folk festivals. His second poetry collection, For All The Veronicas (The Dog Who Staid), won an Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Writing and Publishing Award. A member of the ACT Arts Minister’s Creative Council, he won a Canberra Critics Circle Award for contributions to poetry. He co-edited Australian Poetry Journal’s first volume of spoken word and performance poetry – Spoken and ran poetry slam BAD!SLAM!NO!BISCUIT! for ten years.
