Miriam Slater: Emerging Cross-Sector Engagement artist-in-residence featured in a short documentary video

7 Jun, 2022

“It’s allowed me to play every single week.”
“With this residency I have the time, the space, the energy, the reserves to be actually able to contact organisations and go, well this is me.”

Queer, Interdisciplinary artist, Miriam Slater has been working since late last year as the Emerging Cross-Sector Engagement resident in the Creative Recovery and Resilience Residencies program run between UC and Belco Arts. This video featured Miriam’s experience during the residency.

Making the most of every week in the residency, they have been devising new work in the Rehearsal Room and Dance Studio at Belco Arts and connecting with organisations and communities throughout their residency.
